Deterministic Multi-User Physics
SAN FRANCISCO - The boundary between pre-rendered cinematic visual effects and real-time interactive gameplay has dissolved further with the release of the VoxelFlow 3.0 real-time physics framework.
Developed collaboratively by indie engineers and simulation veterans, the engine leverages tensor cores on modern consumer graphics hardware to calculate full-body soft collisions, cloth aerodynamics, and fluid turbulence on the fly.
"Gamers have grown weary of static, non-reactive environments where walls are indestructible and water is merely a flat shader," noted lead developer Liam Vance at the Game Developers Conference.
The key technical innovation is deterministic state compression, which allows hundreds of players in a shared multiplayer server to experience identical physical destruction without network desync.
Three upcoming independent action titles scheduled for release in late 2026 have already built their core combat mechanics around the new engine.
